Our Private i and Private informant labs offer opportunities for both new and advanced users to expand their knowledge, learn about upcoming developments, and share ideas with other clients.

Best Practices

Private equity has been described as an apprentice-based craft, with a language and process all its own. We agree. Much of what might be termed "Best Practices" is evolving. The private nature of this asset class creates artificial barriers between practitioners. As a service provider to a diverse client base, we see beyond many of these barriers and can help bridge gaps between practicing professionals. One of the benefits of our lab is that it serves as a forum for open communication between us and our clients, including sharing best practices. Our regularly scheduled training sessions are free to clients. These labs feature both beginning and advanced tracks and are held in a variety of locations.

Beginner Private i Labs

Our Beginner Labs are typically offered on the second Wednesday of the month in our Hoboken, NJ office. In these sessions designed specifically for beginner users, we introduce the system, and teach the basics of data entry, data analysis and reports.

In 2005, we added two special "Hands-On" Beginner Labs for 2005. These hands-on sessions focus on the data entry aspects of our LP Commitments and Reporting modules of Private i. Each attendee has access to Private i where they will use practical examples to enter data and run reports.

Advanced Private i Labs

Our Advanced Labs are offered a few times a year in our Hoboken, NJ office. These sessions are designed more our advanced users, and you help determine the agenda! The topics of discussion are predetermined by the attendees.

Private informant Labs

Our Private informant Labs are offered every few months in our Hoboken, NJ office. These sessions, designed for our Private informant subscribers, cover data analysis and reports as well as understanding our processes.

Regional Labs

We're coming to a city near you! Our Regional Labs are two day events in various cities throughout the world. These sessions offer breakout sessions to separate new and advanced users, and give you the option to attend sessions that discuss topics of particular interest to you.
